Privacy
The short version: the public site doesn't track you, and there's nothing here to sign up to.

Who we are
Leeds Punjabi Society is a student society at Leeds University Union. This site is our public home — who we are, what's on and how to join — plus a private portal our committee uses to run the society.
No analytics, no marketing cookies
We don't run analytics on you and we don't use marketing cookies. No trackers, no advertising pixels, no sign-up forms — the public site can't tell who you are, and we like it that way.
Our hosting platform (Vercel) reports anonymous performance measurements — how quickly pages load — so we can keep the site fast. They aren't linked to you and don't use cookies.
Cookies
Public pages set no cookies. The only cookies on this site belong to the committee login: signing in sets Supabase authentication cookies — their names start with sb- and end in -auth-token — which exist purely to keep a committee member signed in. If you never log in, you never get a cookie.
The committee portal
Behind the login sits the committee's own organising space. It's visible only to signed-in committee members, and nothing you do on the public site is recorded in it.
Joining and payments
Membership is bought through the Leeds University Union website (Engage). Your payment and personal details are handled entirely by the Union under its own privacy policy — this site never sees them.
Photos
Event photos showing identifiable people only appear here with their consent. If you spot yourself and want a photo taken down, message us and it goes.
